A Big Retail Addition for Southern Utah

Nordstrom, Inc. has officially announced plans to open a new Nordstrom Rack right here in St. George. The store is set to open in spring 2027, marking the retailer’s first location in Southern Utah.

Gemma Lionello, President of Nordstrom Rack, shared her excitement about the expansion, saying, “We look forward to being a part of the St. George community and serving our customers with an amazing offering of great brands at great prices.”

Where Will It Be Located?

The new store will be 24,000 square feet and located at The Paseo, a brand-new shopping destination anchored by a Larry H. Miller Megaplex Family Entertainment Center.

The Paseo is being developed by Elevated Property Company and sits just off 3000 E Street and Merrill Road—a prime location for residents across St. George and Washington.

Why It Matters for St. George

This is more than just a new store opening—it’s a sign of how much St. George is growing. With Nordstrom Rack joining the mix, The Paseo is expected to become a major retail and entertainment hub for Southern Utah.

Gary Hall, Chief Leasing Officer at Elevated Property Company, called Nordstrom Rack a “cornerstone tenant” for The Paseo, adding that this project reflects teamwork between developers, retailers, and the community.

For those who aren’t familiar, Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of Nordstrom. Shoppers can expect:
